Default DivX Version 6.9.1 + XP = Poor Quality

For some reason if I install DivX on my PC it makes all videos look blocky and poor apart from DivX films. I dont see why it should effect other formats or online videos such as youtube but it does. Any one know what's happening?

im not sure i understand what you mean but i always use vlc player, its free, great quality, works brilliantly and would probably play beer mats if you tried.
