The other one for a little more cash will be quite abit faster.

But depends what you want from it. the one you listed will happily browse multiple websites, and msn, and word docs etc.. But wont be very good for gaming and such.

If you could afford a bit more mate, think it would be better.

All depends what you want to use it for.

I would go new tbh mate, but its up to you.
Theres plenty out there, if your only want to watch films and go on the internet then a wifi, ddr2 mem 2gb, dual core 2ghz, DVD Drive. Dont really need something big to do those kind of things nowadays.

What about this?
Refurbed but look ok.

I'd definitely get one with 3GB RAM and Windows 7. Get as much storage as you can for the money.

The ram will help you out, but if poss get 4GB with x64 of Windows 7. You'll notice a big difference in speed over a x86 OS.

I got my Acer 6930g and upgraded from there, added an extra 1gb RAM, reformatted and put windows 7 on there along with a new 500gb HDD. Runs sweet and plays games pretty ok too

Simples. Dont buy from PC World, I've found every store I've been into and asked if they have a certain item in stock, think only 1 employee in the last 5 years has actually said they know what Im talking about.

Utter shite is PC World, good prices but poorly built systems and full of crap you will never use! Good choice not going with them!
