Default good spyware remover FREE!

for some reason i keep getting pop ups from internet explorer (when i dont use internet explorer, i use advanced browser), i've got all pop up blockers enabled, got sygate personal firewall which is supposed to block internet explorer as i never use it, but it doesn't block it. I've got registrybooster2009 which is supposed to clean registry etc, but it doesnt, its rubbish. I'm wondering whats the best spyware remover. I dont really want to pay for any of them, as there are so many going free. Thank you, Jamie

Your best to avoid most of those random programs. Its normally these programs that come laden with adware. First I would unintsall every random utility and program you have installed. Install windows updates. If your running XP get windows defender and its updates. If its not XP have a look on the MS website for tools for your OS. If you still have problems go odds are is not spy/adware as such but rather a part of a program your running. You can manually through your start up and just turn the offending program off. Failing all that just reinstall windows. Buy the sound of it your PC could probably do with a clean install anyhow so it may be worth doing strait off.

Is security essentials the home version of forefront security? Been running forefront on windows 7 at work for the past month and it's rather annoying at times.

Highly recommend ccleaner and Spybot S&D by the way!

Not sure about that one mate, just started to use it over Avast home the passed week, very light on the system recourses and user friendly.

Fuck everything people said,

Malware Bytes is the single best thing you can use.

That new MS Security isnt bad either if you have no AV. But you only need AV if you cnanot resist to click bad links.
