Default mpi - spi

im converting my engine from single point fuel injection to multipoint soon,

i believe that i will need:
mpi head
mpi injectors
mpi intake manifold
mpi cdi
transponder ring and pick up
associated wiring

my question is, is the wiring for the fuel injection a sub wiring loom? as in can i just unplug a small part of the loom and change that for the mpi one or do i have to change all the engine loom wiring loom?
