Sound deadening removed as promised. I found belting it with a wooden mallet instead of chipping it off worked a lot better. Need to get some nitromors or degreasing agent to get the sticky stuff off next then I'll paint it probably

Is that going to be strong enough to remove this stuff though? I assumed that stuff was for small tar spots on bodywork

Floors de-tarred. Nothing else worked apart from petrol!
also cleaned the throttle body out as I did the clios as well
Going to flat it all back tomorrow or in the week and give it a coat of green paint

Floors prepped with zinc primer then done in green. Not a great job as its rattle can tastic but better than rust!
Seats back in tomorrow after I've lacquered it

I couldn't get any amazon green, so I used a ford colour that was pretty close. Doesn't matter so much for the interior, it's close enough really

Pulled the offside wing off last night to take a look under it, didnt find any structural rust fortunately but the bumper bracket was seriously crusty so that got the wire brush treatment and some hammerite. Didnt get time to do the nearside but just waiting for my new wings to turn up so I'll check that side when I fit them

Did the wishbone bushes this evening. Managed to get one out using an improvised method consisting of a head bolt and two sockets, had to take the rest to be pressed out at a garage. They said their press wouldnt fit it so they ended up burning it out for me.
Put them back on the car with new MLR bushes, not the best of fits but once I aligned it all went well. OMP brace was an arse to get on though, its still slightly bent
Apologies for the crappy shots, forgot to take some while the car was on stands to had to reach under

Sourced some VT wings in amazon green. Just need to swap the side repeaters from mk1 to the cross over clear ones. Bargain as they only cost me a fiver!
