PS3 Questions
ok as you can guess i know fuck all about the ps3
just wondering
does it have wireless built in? dont need to buy anything else to get it to work?
how do i set it up for wireless? ive got wireless at home just dont know how to set it up on the ps3
and another random one
can i play normal dvds on it? i have the 40gb one

yes it has wireless and yes it plays normal dvd's.

Look in the handbook Yates, it tells you how to set it up in 5 steps i think

ive sorted it now, fuck hand books!
just having another problem now, its not picking up the access point, anyone know what it exactly means? it picks up the wireless as i can see it when setting up, but at the end when i test connection it fails saying no access point found or something

have you got some sort of security on your router? U will need to enter the code given by the router into the ps3 if you do.

as in network password?
as i have that, ive not set it all up which has annoyed me, me and mate were gona do it all but sisters bf done it all...
gave me a huge password put that in so duno what else it could be, also internet on laptops not working, which seems to me something with the router but no idea what

i dont have the user book anyway its down in porsmouth and im in darlington
i reset the router last night, at the moment it doesnt have a password on, it works on the laptop and on the home pc but still nothing on the ps3, mates gona have a look at it later on
