Corsa pas on 106/saxo
I've seen a few cars running the corsa c PAS setup. Wondered if anyone in the saxo/106 world had done it yet. I've seen a 205 with it and it looks a great conversion. The only thing I wonder about is it it too intrusive in the cockpit (hits your knees or anything).
Any views?

Space saving, weight, no hydraulics, no noise. Loads of benefits.

Ive seen it on a few cars and with mods to the dash it would fit a saxo but there prone to fail and in my opinion you loose alot of feel through the steering with it

Thanks both - I'll have a search. I heard the failing thing was no more common than any other pas setup though.
Is the 106 with it on RR by any chance? Rather view it over there...
I got the idea from here originally:
http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index...owtopic=130031
Not sure it would fit in with my current plans, but food for thought for the future.

Its been done a few times.. It's possibly the best option if you have high power, wide tyres, LSD and quick rack. It's adjustable which helps. You get corsa b and corsa c items which are slightly different. Don't think a standard heater and ducting would fit with it, bit then I have non of that on my car.

Ah I wondered if you'd looked at it Danny. Do you plan to use it? I'll be excited to hear how you get on with it!
The adjustability of it really appeals to me.

It's not a simple thing for me to do due to other things being in the way.
I've done lots of work with this sort of thing at my old Job so should be relatively straight forward.

Just build up some arm muscles lol
Next youll be wanting a girly hydro clutch
The corsa b ones used to fail all the time, easy to turn left but hard to turn right, we used to do loads when i worked at vauxhall
I personally dont like pas on a track car, i was going to put the saxo stuff on mine but having driven a pas saxo on track dint like it

Not everyone has the space in the engine bay for the pump.
