All I was saying is I would like to be able to see what people are reputable for... i.e. if I was a noob looking for info and someone with 100 rep points says "Lexus lights will add 10bhp!" I'd be inclined to believe him as he knows what he's talking about obviously but I'd be more inclined to think he was joking if I saw 60% of his rep points had "Good joke" comments... I'm not saying you shouldn't give rep for good jokes as I have done but I think its stupid to leave negative rep for someone who said "Good video mate.... but I didn't like the soundtrack"... thats a real example and the user who left it was a friend of the videos creator who was upset his friend recieved a small bit of criticism based on a personal opinion (that we are all entitled to have....) I could understand if the post had said "thats all shit!" as thats unconstructive and just pointless

We're going slightly off-topic now, but if someone leaves negative rep and you think it's undeserved then REPORT IT to a mod. We're not mind readers, and anyone found abusing the rep system will find they no longer have any rep left!
