Probably the same as making your own induction kit up from loo roll.
On a serious note, about £3-6k should do it. Depending on spec and fitting charges for turbo kitting it.

Like a plumbers pipe eh??
Facts are, if you wish to make your own "Air Filter" you havnt got your head screwed on tightly enough to be thinking about a turbo.
For a good setup, with managemnt and all ready to run, be expecting to pay on the high side of 2-3k
For a VTS conversion, put aside around 4-700 quid.
Whats next anywho, are you going to make our yown cam lobes????
That would be intresting.
Hope i have helped

oh don't get me to make a diy turbo tomorrow for you, you still havnt payed for the induction kit
But on a serious note, i would go for the vts conversion, then save up more for a turbo if your not happy with the s power

LOL, we all have jobs too mate, thats why we dont MAKE an induction kit out of fairy washing up liquid bottles and use a lampshade as the cold air feed.

Is your next thread going to be about the Nos then?
I recon probably use around 2000 cans or however many you can fit in your trouser pockets and some sort of hosing into the fuel line and you will see 500bhp to the wheels.
To see a gain of 1000bhp safely, spray two cans at the SAME TIME down the hosing.
For better throttle response, use most recently released lynx products.
