i had a reasonable quote on a saxo vtr when i was 17 it was 2000 third party fire and theft from quinn direct.

Never seen this post code thing before, wow i live in a class C area, cant understand why my town is the only one in the SN coding to be higher.
If i lived 3 miles down the road at my nans id be class A, hmmmm

nice one mate, due to my area being class D the lowest quote i have got so far is £2000 on a 1.1 saxo with 1 years driving exp and im 18 , anyone no an insurance company thats quite easy on high class postcodes

for me to insure a 2001 1.6 saxo vtr at 17 its only just over £1500..... cant see why everyone else seems to have to pay so much ?? surely the area you live cant affect the price by up to £2000!

I got quoted 2800 as the cheapest for a vtr. That was from quinn direct, other places were stupid prices like around 8 grand.

Just got insured on mine at 18 by quinn direct, no ncb living in a D area for 1200

thats awesome, did you ring them up ? i'm lookin' at quotes now, but i might be 18 by the time i'm lookin' at a vtr
but when i'm searchin' online i can't find a quote under 3K on a VTR

alright lads does anyone have any info on how to get cheapest car insurance for a 17 year old on a vtr? i know it will be alot but on my mums policy im getting quotes of £1800 and heard a few lads on here gettin quotes of £1000-£1200 at 17 on parents policy.
