Haha really? I dont hang out with Chavs so dont know what they use tbh I used that site as its got a Sax-P discount.
The sound quality atm is OK (standard ftw), but just want to boost it up that little bit more, hence why I havnt picked out the biggest and most expensive stuff.

how would you feel about wiring the stuff i mentioned? have you done much research?
basically what i linked was a set of components to run off the front channels of the amp,
a sub to run off the back channels of the amp and
wires to wire it all up
components are far superior to standard speakers seperating the mid bass driver(goes where the stock speaker is atm) and the tweeter that produces the high notes(gets mounted somewhere higher up.. door cards/a pillar or in the mirror adjuster plastic thingy(cant remember what its called :|)
and yeh sub in boot obvs..
no reason at all why you couldnt do it yaself and really simple...
i just thought of one more thing... headunit what ya got atm?

Ive not done much research at all. All of this mod business is new to me so its all a learning curve but Ive got the right people on here I can go to. I'll be doing it myself but Ill get my mate to help if I get really stuck.
My HU is a Sony one. Not sure which one exactly as I brought it of the above mentioned mate for £50. It all needs sorting as Ive got the auxillary cable sticking out the front which sometimes gets in the way when changing gear. Theres also the iPod charger from the cigarette lighter which can be in the way at times. It all needs tidying up tbh. Ill get a photo tomorrow when theres decent light. (Car is locked up in the garage now anyway).

As said in my mod question thread, there isnt exactly one. From what Ive seen tonight, about 200-300 I suppose, can be adjusted if need be. The main aim was to find something and save up or it, buy and install, next item and so on.

Are those prices the Sax-P discount?
That comes to £327, got that in cash on my table
Ill bank that at the weekend and hopefully get something sorted over the next few weeks when Ive got some answers for some other things I want to do.
Big help, cheers again.

We were messing around earlier only to find that the front right and rear left speakers are fakes/dont work lol. Got diagonal sounds now lol

i actually like the set up in the 1st post, would work well and provide the right power to comps & sub
imo, no need to purchase the amps in the second quote
btw, set of wires: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/dyna...wg-p-5576.html
and sound deadening (can be added at a later date, but will help massivly): http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/seco...nk-p-4852.html

A socket set to remove the bolts for the rear bench and seatbelt anchor. A t40 socket piece to remove the seats. A decent cable stripper and cutter. Lastly, probably a crimper with bullet and/or spade connectors. Think that is it.
Oh and a range of screw drivers and I think a t20 driver to remove door panel screws.
