Default Earth help

The battery negative terminal has an earth.
Where does it go? to the body or to the box?
The Haynes just says Earth 1.

The negative terminal has 2 ends. one end bolts to the gearbox and the other end bolts onto the chassis near the strut tower.

Indeed sir, you can see the other end on the body already - to the gearbox this end must go then! nice one, thanks.
