she is nearlly ready to run then go for mapping bud,got my original plenum back today with the bodies from re welding.
but waiting for my beasty stainless monster inlet plenum which is being done for a favour.
engine wise its just a standard one with my 708 inlet cam and a custom made de comp plate which is a normal head gasket but i got a 2.5mm middle plate made.didnt have the money yet to re bulid the engine so thats gone on hold, just wanted to get the car running with some bigger injectors then mapping for some more power and solid engine like last year.
that dp manifold would look lovey in that bay danni!!!!!

Ignore the last bit bud, Wrong Danni.
gone for a 2.5mm decomp but what wr done was got a standard tripple layer gasket, de laminated it then out the metal place back I'm the middle. So in respect got a 3mm head gasket with standard sealing properties as with last year we ran 2 head gaskets and it started to leak oil between them a little bit.
Power I'd imagine won't be a great deal more, I'll be more than happy if it's as reliable as it was last year!
What's yours kickingnout bud?

Think when I spoke to mike at ferriday engineering, he reckoned the compression was about 9.3.1 which made 200.1hp at 9psi originally. He said not to touch as we have the management to be able to get the fuel in, ignition timing eta to set it up.
Fingers crossed!!!

haha class mate, really impressed with your power result as it gives me a very rough idea how much power im to expect. what cams do you have in? and did you use a decomp plate?
i know your probably keen on just using it now but maybe next time its apart a different manifold and turbo to improve power a little more?

Prob doing a shoot over the next few weeks.
It's circa 400-450 bhp and he feels it's quicker than the gtr he had.

Danny, I'd love to change the manifold but don't have any money, I can get up to 250 from this turbo if I send it to my mate to be hybrid again but we don't wanna change it as it's because it has so little lag that makes it so fast out the corners
Yeah on a 3mm de comp plate in total with gaskets so good so far bud

ahh right, i doubt a little more lag wil affect you too much on track mate.. just get on the right pedal a tenth sooner.
3mm decomp plate, thats pretty thick. im pleased for you mate, hard work looks to be paying off. im sure you will have plenty of fun this year.
