Its very refreshing to see a plumbed in system and a cut off switch (wired in to ignition i hope!) going into a track car.... Many people seem to skimp on these items for some reason! I think its very sensible.
Keep up the good work, a very cool car!

Thanks for the praise.
yeah it's going to the ignition. that was the main headache working that wiring out. i eventually just went and took a nosey under the dash of a saxmax and it's nothing like the diagram lol.

Its a tasty seat. i didn't find it too tricky to get in and out of, what with the single door bar. It's easier popping the wheel off first but not necessary. The distances are surprisingly good. gearstick, pedals, wheel etc. a less hardcore seat would be easier, but if i'm gonna go track i don't really wanna go half arsed

yeh pretty much going for it! as soon as my wheels and hi specs are on im gonna start using it and cage will come in time for the ring in the summer. i think i only really need another seat and the cage and im sorted at least basics. id to tinker with the engine in the form of a cam and map but i dont want to start messing too much so it becomes unrealiable as its fine at the moment.
what tracks are you planning to hit?

My birthday's in june, so right in the middle of the bloody season. Once i've been on the road for a bit as many as i can really. Probably be at brands most of the time as it's nice and close. I'm also gonna hit the ring, but maybe next year if i can't make it this year

Just had to order a new fuel supply line, the one that runs inside on the left hand side of the passenger footwell. Had a monster leak. went to start the car and fuel started spraying me in the face. not fun. swiftly disconnected the battery. £29 for one bloody pipe! had to fashion a snorkel to keep the fuel in the tank.
Cage welding on Monday though!!!!!! yay
