Rear beam / MOT - Saxperience

Jacked the car up today to check the beam for play.. drivers side is solid, but the passenger has slight play in it.. not dropped or cambered or anything..

I failed last MOT on 'excessive play in trailing arm' So i know they fail them for alot of play.. so will slight play be a advisory or a fail? Can't afford £365 just yet..

depends how bad it is but if it is only slight then just an advisory

It is only abit 2mm movement.. but maybe the pads on the disk stopped it moving more..

hopefully it'll still pass then

The pads on the disc wouldnt make any difference.

Its play on the trailing arm bearings to the stub pin. Wait and see. IM Axles will refurb just one side if you wanted them too.
