Going down a dual carrigeway t'other day, and some new Seat Leon FR tried to do me on the inside lane. I booted in 2nd at the same time as him, loads of wheel spin! Then it gripped while at 8000rpm, and almost snapped my neck! It must of looked like I hit a nitrous button as I shot past him struggling to hold the steering wheel. Haha. Then hit 3rd hear and carried on snaking up the hill. Hilarious.

I'll get some vids up soon hopefully. I need to get a camera mounted and stuff. A cage would help that...
Anyway. If Mr Courier arrives today, I should have a nice little update on the way. Let's just say, my drab interior has been needing a little brightening up

Mate, at 8000rpm, it makes the most amazing noise, EVER. I certainly don't make a habit out of hammering it off the limiter, but if you get wheel spin and it shoots to 8000rpm, I think I've got soft cut at 8100rpm actually, it doesn't make that bang, bang, bang noise and jerk the car like you see with the stock ECU's, it just seems to hold the revs. But the noise it makes! Wowzers... I think I'm gonna go hug my car actually.

After using my previous engine for nearly 3 years at 7800rpm, and with big vales on stock springs, I don't think and extra 200 - 300rpm is going to be an issue.

Cool Update!
AT Power are making me some 90mm air horns, (my current ones are 40mm) which I will do back-to-back testing with on Northampton Motorsport's rollers.
Will they make any difference whatsoever? Place your bets please...

I don't think peak bhp will be affected - but I think the torque curve will either shift down the revs, or it'll increase by 5ft/lbs - got my bet in

Not unless they map for the longer inlet tract
the results will be pointless otherwise
