TV suggestions
I want full HD and no bigger than around 40"
At least 3 HDMI inputs.
Not sure on budget because I don't know what kind of prices are decent.
HALP?!

Plasma is technically the best, but its no good if your room is well lit up/big windows, also if you play on games alot you can get plasma burns.
LED is slightly better than LCD but not much different, no plasma burns, suitable for all lighting and little less on the quality in comparison with the plasma.
(All are marginal and tbf theres not much in it)

They say LCD are better for smaller screens then plasmas for larger screens. But LCDs are pretty good these days for the home TV. Grab a copy of what hifi sound and vision - get a good idea on which to look at then have alook for yourself

Lol at using a 42" inch in the kitchen, flash bastard.
From what i read about it last night, they're meant to be very good for the money, however they don't have an anti glare filter, but i don't think that would be much of an issue for me.

It's going to be our main living area, leaving the lounge for evening smooching!
Has to be a 42 as we have the pioneer 50 in the lounge, soon to be replaced by a 63

Nice. What else is going in the games room?
I'm in the middle of turning my garage into a games room, got my pub pool table, projector, sofa, bar and the draughtmaster pint machine so far
Back on topic that TV I posted is getting rave reviews, people saying that it's close to the Kuro quality and the best you can get now since Pioneer pulled the Kuro.

I bought a TV with exactly what you want in March. 3 HDMI's, Full 1080p etc, even has Freesat HD built in. Model is an LG 37" (37lf7700), I bought it from argos as it was on offer for £399. Very impressed with it so far, blu-rays are fantastic and playing the xbox is awesome. I doubt you can pick them up for that price now but if you can I would recommend it to anyone!
