had my car scratched at the weekend by some git
has any one used meguiars scratch it comes in a squeeze tub if ya have used it is it any good ?

yes have used it and its shite, it resides in a dark corner of the garage never to be used again.

i use menzerna intensive polish from polished bliss does an excellent job and was recommended to me after i bought the ssr2 so i swopped it and was really pleased with the results, it doesn't get rid of major swirls/scratches but does a great job on the minor ones.

Meguiars Scratch X will never pull out the scratches you may be thinking of mate I'm afraid.

Its a pretty strong abrasive - idea to used to buff out very fine scratches.

I use it on the very slight scratches and it does work but the deeper ones would need either a machine or bodyshop to get them out.

Yeh i also just used it on the slight scratches but not sure bout that mate...

As Sharpy says, Menzerna Intensive Polish is worth a try, but won't necessarily work miracles - it is miles better than Scratch X though.
