Default Saxo Vehicle Speed Sensor

Hi,

I wonder if my CDY already has a VSS.
I'd like to install a cruise control, therefore a speed signal would preferable. Unfortunately, I don't own a detailed(!) repair manual, so I can't find it. It shall be somewhere at the gear box. Number 1620. For newer models since 1999 I know it, but mine is from 1997.
Where is it in the CDY or which cable is it? Here you can see it, but it's not complete. Only mentioned + and - but not the speed signal.

If there would be no VSS in the CDY, where can I find a RPM sensor? (Except from the ignition coil.)

Thanks for helpful hints!

Thank you!

Meanwhile I've found some information, that vehicle speed might be on pin 28, either with pink/green or yellow/green cable. But it's not sure.
Can anyone verify this?

And anyone with more deatails about the rpm signal?

As I posted in another thread : http://bit.ly/NRnZJn

That may be easiest if you cannot resolve using existing wiring.

Meanwhile everything works fine. I installed the cruise control and took the speed signal from the tacho cable direktly below the steering wheel. Since 6.000km no problems. Less need of fuel: http://www.spritmonitor.de/de/detailansicht/519803.html
