will people stop posting pics of vdubs makes me just want to go and buy one of them instead of wasting money on the saxo.
Is urs a mk1 or 2?
To me this is VERY important as it would dictate the style i would go for, mk1's i think are more boxy old skool, mk2's u can go for a slightly cleaner style- quick example cup mirrors can fit a mk2 and if in keeping with that theme can look good but the will always look crap against the straighter lines on a mk1
Lets get one thing straight aswell "euro" isnt about smoothing everything in sight it about enhancing whats already there, making certain lines and shapes u like/dislike more prominent (sp)/disapear, Dont thing smooth, smooth low, wide as everyone else says, think unique, fresh, quality- dont just buy aloud of cheap parts, if theres a well known respected option & a cheaper non respected options, save and spend the money on the better option it all shows at the end
Exterior- as above, ive seen alot of people who have "euro'd" there saxos and just smoothed every line in sight, and ruined it, they have no contrast or definiton anymore, u have to be really selective of ur touches, think bens/robbies (brown mk2) is one of the best examples of this
U may spend a fortune on 1 mod but if its different and fits the style of your car's "theme" then it may make the car
Wheels 14's would be preferable but no that practical for a daily driver as u have to go seriously low to get rid of the arch gap, so prob best looking at 15", theres loads of sites out there for euro wheels but not many stock 4x108pcd so ull prob find a limited choice & the ones that are available r quite common now! Width anything less than 7.5" on the front & 8.5" on the rear isnt worth doing
Suspension ideally ur gonna need adjustable ride height for practiality & to perfect the stance, so either coilovers, air bags or hydraulics non are cheap!
Interior- doesnt have to be leather, but normally finishes a car nicely n makes it have a certain class, but you can do a nice interior cheaper as long as it has an impact, if it doesnt then forget it, will just look like uve bottled it
Ive got two amazing ideas one for a mk1 n 1 for a mk2 id love to do at some point so cant say much more, but im from newcastle so if u ever want to meet up for a chat give me a bell!
