How do you get the LCD (the milage display) to light up blue? Does that come out or something?
Any pics?
Thanx

haynes should tell you how to get to them mate, once out its just the clips holding the circuit board in that are a bit fiddly, im no good with a soldering iron you just need a steady hand tbh, stroke the iron over the solder while puling on the led with tweezers
heres mine

well after every led i checked it so id say around an hour to do mate, and about half, getting it out about 20 mins to half an hour, as you should disconnect the battery when messing around with the airbag, but once off you can connect it back up to test the LEDs, about 20 mins putting it all back in as you will know how it will go back

Its not going to harm the airbag then if i disconnect the battery first, then remove the stearingwheel is it?
And then attatch the stearing wheel, then reconnect the battery.

disconnect the battery for ten mins then take the airbag, same for when you put it back on, when you have finished with the leds just disconnect the battery byt the time you get to the airbag it should be ok
its just in case it goes off they rarely do though
well some early mk2s may be bulbs thats why i said take them apart and check, actually does it have a digital clock and mileometer??
