One of my mates has always used colour changed LEDs for his dashboard lights & sidelights & inside his side repeaters (aswell as the repeater bulbs) etc.
Iv always quite liked it to look at, dunno if id do it though

Mmmm, the switch souns like quite a nice subtle application of it though.
My problem is, iv got a black saxo & so far the only colour im trying to add to it would be red (calipers etc) so ideally id like to have red lights on the inside too. Red dials & red needles wont go very wel though. Gonna do the switches red still i think but m not sure about the dials. Thats why i was after clear needles & then i could do the needles white

Yeh ur page was what reminded me. You mean you can remove the green filter with white spirit? So you could keep the std looking front of it and just attach new coloured vynal or somethin behind it to colour the light?

Do these still dim & go brighter when in use?

no unfortunatly i cant get anthing that will remove the green filter without effecting the rest so i mean u can get rid off all the filters and have a blank plastic insert and then stick i vynal one on the inside of that so its remails factory loking coz i cant think of any other way to do it, unless u cover the green filter on the icons with duck tape from behind and jsut he the red/blue bits lit up
