Over revving when cold?
I've had a quick look at the FAQ http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51637 but i dont know what would cause it. It only does it when its cold so i'm not particuly worried but the car holds onto its revs at about 1.5k. any1 else have this?

when first started or when warm? when it's first started it's on choke and will be overfueling like a bitch, which means it idles higher until it warms up

yeah its from cold like starting in the morning. i though it might have been because its on choke but wasn't overly sure as my old one didn't do it. i must stop comparing my old car to my new one

We've had countless problem setting the idle on our demo car, set it to 1000, turn it off, straight back on, 1500, and so on
Very strange, sorted now

Saxo's don't have chokes! Only carb'd engines have them!

Saxo's have "idle up" stepper motor IAC valves. These control the amount of air bypassing the throttle butterfly. When more air goes in, the MAP reading increases and the ECU provides more fuel to go with it. When the Coolant Temp Sensor is reading low, it will also add more fuel based on this lower operating temperature.
If a carb'd engine has a choke, what's the difference? YOu open the butterfly more, and put more fuel in!
