I was being a cock on mw2, you know like taking the bomb and then hiding in a corner and not doing anything with it until the time ran out and blocking in players camped in corners so they can't do anything... as you do.

And on took particular offence and messaged me and said he'd taken my credit card details...?

yeah good point man - I mean it hasn't bothered me as I know he hadn't obtained them, but it got me thinking whether it's actually possible?

I replied with... 'dont spend it all at once.'

then informed me he'd bought a new xbox? (why would you buy something you've already got if you've got free reign on someones credit card???)

last laugh is on me though as the credit card is maxed out anyway so he can't buy shit even if he does have the details.

it is possible to do it mate, but theres probably 3 in a million people with the know how to get your details and use them outside of the 360 dashboard, iv read how to do it just being curious, and its a good few hours work, i also read how someone was charged for 30 years xbox live subscription, the unlucky person told microsoft, and the 30 years were cancelled and his account refunded after 30 minutes.

Best thing to do is never use or store your card details on your account. I always use microsoft points, so if I did get hacked they would have nothing to gain

Agree with GoochyBoy it can be done though is difficult. Odds are any one smart enough to do it would be smart enough not to blag about it. Your card is covered anyhow so nothing to worry about. I would report said user as he has broken his MS user agreement buy simple saying they have done so.
