i always found winamp abit muffled compared with media player..... whats it like these days?

Its been way ahead of WMP since its 5.0 series release, that was about 2 years ago, lol.

Uses less resources, can minimise to taskbar. (like msn does) Can just pick and drop folders into the playlist and it will only pick out the audio, were as WMP picks the album art and everything!
Media Libary is much better, and easier to use. You can rename ID3 tags just by right clicking them....
Just try it, theres much much more!

Got 5.5 pro anniversary edition it seems rather good just having a fiddle now!
Sound quality is good with my X-FI Xtreme gamer card

daryl Im running the same card (platinum edition)
surely the Crystalizer and a quality audio setup is worth more than any software features in winamp?
