Default Gaming Comuter

Right. About 2 years ago i made my very own gaming compter which was the higest specs around.

Now, i want to play GTA and high end games like that that rely on newer systems to run on.

ATM i've got

ASUS A8N-SLI Delxe
4 GB Ram (1GB in Each Slot)
Nvidia 8800GTX (850MB)
AMD Athlon 4800+ X2 (2.4Ghz)
800W Thermal Intake PSU (Cost 130 Pounds)
2 Hard Drives at 7200RPM (Wants 10,000 but far too much money)
Sopme fancy fans for cooling.

Now.. I want something thats a BEAST! Something that what ever i throw at it, it wont even hesitate.

Any ideas. I was looking at this: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=224598

P.S. AMD or Intel? For's and Against!

Fuck AMD, they make good budget CPU's but high end, not a chance i would get one (They also dont support DDR3 from what i hear) I would recommend the following...

Mobo: http://www.microdirect.co.uk/(37292)...-n-LGA775.aspx

CPU: http://www.microdirect.co.uk/(35181)...ore-25GHz.aspx

GFX: (I would probably get another 8800GT/X and run them SLi, as its the most cost-effective as i see it, and would out perform <£200 cards)

RAM: http://www.microdirect.co.uk/(19743)...on-Memory.aspx

Then any corsair PSU and whatever hard drive you choose. ive not got an aftermarket fan on my CPU but friends have highly recommended me to get one so would probably get one too.

All depends on your budget though tbh mate

P.S. Also, not sure what case you plan to use but it will be vital in cooling a high end spec PC, I use Antec 900 case and its a dam good case, loads of scope for additional fans, comes with 3/4 as standard
