Can you put a platter in a dishwasher?
I have a sneaky feeling that my plater is covered in wax/ polish.
I went to clean it with a damp sponge and the water just beaded. Obv not what i'm wanting. I'm getting to much slip atm.
I was wondering if i can put the platter is a dish washer so that the chemicals would wash off the wax/ polish? I would only put it on a medium temp as it may cause it damage.

I wouldn't put it in a dishwasher personally, would just keep trying hand wash methods.
