can anyone recommend a good beginner friendly website making program? but one that i can make professional looking websites with?

This is a hard one.
If you dont want to learn coding i would go for a bought template rather than using dreamweaver etc which create really horrible code.

i know it isnt great, but it will create you a flash website, really easily - i wouldnt call it professional though

Well with a music website you are looking at a fair bit of work especially if u just want people to be able to listen to the music on your site and not just download it straight off.
But either way as a beginner you would be looking at using a program like Dreamweaver (Very expensive) or Microsoft Expression Web and doing it all in HTML which will mean you wont really have any way of getting people to register or have dynamic content so you will need to keep it updated very often.
Or you could go down the route of getting someone to make the website for you, get a professional job done and get all the nice user features in there like registrations, comments and Facebook Like buttons in PHP.
