yep, PSA loved there locktite lol
broken a few bearing plates undoing them bolts, BE is childsplay compared to an MA

yes i was going to say holds diff in but it doesnt do that it holds bearings but you know what i mean lol
my box had been rebuilt few years ago, about 4 i think. One t50 i had to chissle and bastardise to get it out.
pissy thing is new ma gojng back in only for short period before be does :/

Ive seen how diff is removed. Why hell ma couldnt be like that. Id be back on road (track) again by now

when you notch the chassis leg for the 6 speed, you dont have to remove the box, just drop the top mount and lower the box and inch or 2 then pull the casing off, leaving the bellhousing and shafts in

Didnt you fit 6spd into a be 5 spd casing or do i have that wrong?

had a delay as couldn't find my tap for intermediate plate bolts, but borrowed one from martin today. cheers pal.
have to make a mention of handy tip off john in bolting the box to the bench, cheers
so made a start on rebuilding the MA box.
pleased I have an ax manual as the guide came in handy. my saxo Haynes does not cover gearboxes...
this bit I found fiddly till I worked it out lol
and this is where ive left it for today... sealed up waiting for 5th.
