are these engines the same or not . sorry i now this is a saxo site but i think the rallye (1.6 that is) is faster than the vtr . I have also heard that the rallyes tappets are quite loud , is this true ?

as far as im aware the 106 rallye 1.6 8v uses a slightly different cam and something else but im really unsure on the details

Burtay: The 106 rallye had two engines a 1.3 8v and a 1.6 8v. The 1.3 8v gearbox is in high demand due to its shorter ratios but the gear box itself is quite weak.

dont think they imported it here in Turkye because i never heard of it and never seen it
