EOS 500d
Hi people!
I'm looking into upgrading from a fuji digital compact to this DSLR which comes with 18-55mm lens and the 75-300mm lens.
Am looking for any recommendations for a macro lens?

I have heard that the Tamron 90mm F2.8 Macro is meant to be great
I think Canon do a 100mm Macro but it's probably 3x the price of the Tamron
Hope this helps

you could always not get the kit 75-300mm lens which isnt meant to be that good and get a sigma 70-300mm DG with Macro function.

what's your budget?
If you get over 100 posts and been a member for over 30 days you can view the classifieds on the talkphotography forum and there's lenses going from £50 - £80 on there if you search
