New Camera :)
My Canon EOS 40D & Canon 70-200mm f4 (NON IS) arrived in the post today so I took for a quick spin to make sure it works. I love it, so much different from my 1000D.

good stuff, should take a load more abuse than the 1000D. Never been a fan of the fisherprice plastic bodies they just dont seem like they would take too much stick.
Enjoy better Af and good Iso performance.

The 1000D has served me well for the last two years, 28000 clicks and its not missed a beat but i agree it does feel fragile after using the 40D,

28000 isnt an awful lot. But im talking about just the body its small and not that comfortable to hold and i really would fear giving it alot of abuse. Theyre good to learn on granted I just for me always felt that the risk of breaking one was quite high.
40D should stand up well.
