Quick question....
Got a large CAD drawing I need to send to a company, its 14MB trying to send in email.....not a chance. Keeps saying file is too large too send.
Would zipping this file be an option?
How do I zip a file?

download winrar, its pretty straight forward.

Use Winzip or something similar.

Host it on some free webspace - give the client the web address.
Or you could let them ftp it off your computer, ask the IT gurus on here or at work.

If its saved as a jpeg image open it in photoshop and resave, lowering the image quality.
The server limit is set on your exchange / email server at work. The administrator can increase / decrease this easily, however they probably will refuse.
Id suggest possibly zipping but i doubt ull even loose 1mb, otherwise try to send it by other means,

The limit is usally set by the exchange in business. Chances are its capped to 10mb per mail.
External mail providers all have different limits, msn, gmail, yahoo etc etc.
If hes using his company mail chances are it will be running through an exchange.
