sounds system help!!!!
right ok had a lttle exsperiment this weekend, have a 1200w sub with built in amp in my car and the amp has a 2nd pre out so.... i have daisy chained another amp so daisy chained the power (seperate fuse) remote and put in a seperate earth, bought new rca cable also, both amps turn on the speakers work but the sub hardly moves it is on and working but hardly also the speakers wine when the engine revs! i disconnected the fuse to the 2nd amp and the sub works again fine...... any ideas???
i no people are going to say get it done professionally and pay money for it but id rather have a go my self

I assume when you remove the 2nd fuse the 1st amp and sub works but the second doesnt? If this is so then you have 2 problems:
1) The earth on you 2nd amp is insufficient (hence the engine whine)
2) The 2 amps connected together draw too much power and therefore when they are connected together neither work fully. So you need to run a seperate permanent power for your second amp.
Make sure you are using sufficient diameter cable for both your permanent power and earth wires. 1200W (if its RMS) is a lot of power.

your speakers add up to 2000watt peak? lol what/howmany speakers u got matey?
as said its either a bad ground or the gauge isnt thick enough but the wine could be down to interfearance as well, how have you run the wires? (as in which wires are on what side) also do you have any idea what gauge your power cable is dude?
Cheers

well a decent set of 6.5" front comps would add up to around 360w max
i know max values mean fuck all but still 2000watt just on speakers is a bit mad unless its stuff from the loudest.com
