Default Wipers not parking

newbie to the saxo
have a problem that wipers do not park and intermittant wipe does nothing.
when washers are activated wipe does not without turninbodyg wipe on.
are these nuancies of the saxo have had xsara's in the past that dont work this way

would welcome everybodies opinion.

I know I'm reviving an old post but I just want to add that I've have this problem recently and it seems that these relays cost a bomb second hand! So just searched for 6 pin relay and found a generic Chinese thing for 3 quid on ebay and it works great
