New Camera
Picked myself up a Nikon D60 SLR last night 
Only has the standard 18-55mm lens but its immense 
Going out tomorrow to get some pictures, hopefully
I'm well happy

as bastarded and tedious as it is... make sure you read the manual cover to cover you'll find a lot of shizzle you didn't even know cameras were capable of

I got a dvd with mine but i didnt read the small print about it confusing blondes...Doh!!

Was £449 from Currys, i could have got it cheaper elsewhere but i prefer to pick up rather than delivery and also wanted it on finance..

I have the user manual in work with me today, already read quite a bit of it. I know what you mean though, when you have the user manual and the camera there, you just want to get out there and take pics lol

first one: well it won't win a photography award i don't think lol
Second one: nice but with macroish stuff be careful aout framing especially with mild bokeh (out of focus stuff)... it makes it hard to distinguish what you're trying to attract the viewer to.
third: niceeee
all the night time stuff.... set your white balance to Tungsten or equivlent or manual set it to 3000K
