Just a few questions I have part fitted mine, did you use the original clip/spring to that held the bulb in? Also I don't have a rubber grommet, but a plastic cover and the original wiring goes through part of the plastic, is it possible to purchase the grommet's separate?

yeah just use the original clip for holding the light in, it is a bit fiddly but eventually youll work out how it goes
grommit off heaghts you mean, just do it like the guide states

You forgot to mention that you need adjust the headlights down a bit after the new unit is installed, hids CAN NOT be run on the standard halogen setup otherwise you'll end up blinding everyone.

Ok cheers, but these gromits/covers
Mine are plastic so I was wondering do they only come on saxo's or later saxo's 106? Mine's just a black plastic cover that goes over the back of the headlights.

pretty much the same so far but not finished, where did you mount the rhs ballast? my ecu covers the whole of the ecu holder so wont fit at all! well annoying but its got more air circulation under the ecu holder so should be good. is it the ballasts that get really hot or the small black plastic box?

Can you get some rubber ones from a scrappy that will fix to the back of the light? (never seen a 106 light tbh) or you might need to modify the light covers with a rather large hole and some silicone... not too sure what else to suggest

perfect the lhs ballast will get enough cool air where i have mounted it, not too sure by his piccys where he has mounted the rhs one... im guessing up against the inside of the radiator area... my relay hi/lo switch unit it inside the fuse box so that will be nice and dry, its been raining here so havent actually got round to getting myne working yet...
if they are good then i might get some more for the fogs and wire them up to full beam not sure yet

is it just me or did everyone have to cut the reflector off the bulb holder part? I guess you could use the std reflector but the aftermarket one works soo much better!
Just need to find some replacement reflectors for mot time just incase i need to put the halogen bulbs back in...
