get on ebay and buy the clamp fix kit and paste stuff and repair it yourself it'll cost u a fiver tops and works perfect after. takes about 30mins too.

just phone ms i,ve just got mine back as i was checking the repair status online it said my warnty had expired but they still fixed it

RROD was extended beyond the normal 1year warranty.

PS3 owners all try and go on about it but they also have a problem which is effecting a few consoles

This isnt much help if you can get microsoft to help, but my friend turned his on in a towl and it overheated and then started working again. Dunno why it worked but it did.

good way to make you xbox last longer is to install your games to your hard drive, that way its just running off your hdd and not ur disk drive and its quieter.

i did the towl trick and worked for another 3 months i no it aint long but gave me time to save up for an elite so i dont get the xbox shakes lol otherwise to that there is a fix my dad does them hes got a machine that dismantels and builds the motherboards red rings are caused by the prosesser coming off when it gets hot after the towel trick get a cooling system should stop it coming off again if it sticks properly )

Yeah my PS3 stopped reading Blu-Ray films, everything else worked, i was 2 weeks out of warranty, was just polite and had a laugh on the phone with the boy and 2 days later i had a brand spankers PS3 Slim.
