Need some help with diet?
Hi,
Been using Whey protein for a while, but been making the big mistake of having a shit diet so have been getting shit gains.
I'm going to start using creatine and have read you need a decent diet for it to take its role in the body.
Can anyone suggest WHAT to eat exactly?
I'm not too picky, just need a simple description of what i need and when i need it.
Any help is much appreciated
Thanks,
Sam

Have the Creatine Cycle with protein shakes.
You want to have around 5/6 smaller meals a day.
Example would day would be..
9AM - Brown Bread and Boiled Eggs
10:30AM - Banana and Protein Shake
1:00pm - Tuna Sandwich (brown bread)
2:30pm - Greek Yogurt and a handful of nuts
5:00pm - Chicken Stir Fry
6:55pm - Protein Shake
7:00pm - Gym Session
8:00pm - Protein Shake
10:00pm - Porridge
You want loads of protein and no fat.
Eggs, (Boiled, Scrambled, Omelets, Poached)
Bread - Brown
Porridge Oats
Tuna, Fish, Chicken, Turkey (all high in protein - asda have a full chicken for £2)
Brown Paste
Brown Rice
Obviously no beer, no takeaways.

my boxing coach says it dont matter what you eat and diets are a pile of poo its about how you train not what you eat. And he is mahoosive eat what you want but take supplements. i eat what i want, but have 3 shakes a day, n 3 ethyl ester tablets before and 3 after a work out. ( usian bolt eats pure chicken nuggets during training )
people will go on a diet when they train n think there is a difference cos of the diet, but it will be because of the training.

Sorry but the body needs the right fuel. Its ok saying ea what you want but if you are not eating the correct fuels for training you wont see the correct gains. This is how people end up with problems such as lack of energy and slow recovery times.
Dieting isnt difficult, but just eating anything and not taking into account things isnt the right way to deal with it. People seem to think that the word diet is eatting salad. Diet is the scientific term for what you eat, so even eating shit you are still part of a diet, that is just your own individual one
Supplimentation also is just that it shouldnt be used as the diet itself, they are also more expensive than eating correctly
Bolt doesnt just eat nuggets btw

Sort of agree & disagree with that at the same time. Boxing training is hardcore when done properly, so you could get away with eating whatever and still look good. But if you ate a good diet and still boxed, you would look/be even better.
Suppose it depends on how serious you are about it too, most boxing clubs are ran by either has-beens or wannabe pros, who train you THEIR way so they feel like they are the champ. You will never find any professional boxer who doesn't follow a strict diet.

I meant no fat as in cheese, crisps, cooking oil, chips, etc...
Unwanted fats.
