New software on 3gs..
Just updated mine and its taken all my games and replaced them with a single app called "Game centre" however none of my games are in there..
Do i realy have to go threw the hassle of downloading them all again threw the app store

Game centre just keeps a record of your scores, doesn't replace the game apps
Mine was ok when I last updated, game centre just came up as an extra app

Iv done my I phone 4 the games should still be there just a few pages on.
New tones are wack tho apple need to sort it out. Had the same message and ring tone for 2 years. Lol

Shouldnt have removed your games unless it was jailbroken....
Game Center has been in since 4.1

I had 4 previously but didnt update for a while now ive got 4.2..
Never been jailbroken or nothing, had a app cull a while ago and got it down to two pages now have just over one and all my games are gone 
EDIT: ALL MY APPS ARE GONE APART FORM THE IPHONE ORIGINALS!!!

Just had a bash threw app store and found all the ones i had they say "installed" so i cant download them again WTF ...

Just updated my 3gs to 4.2 and no problems you did let Itunes back up your phone before downloading and installing 4.2 didnt you?

Try doing a reset? Hold down power and home button untill it restarts

I just clicked yes to everything i vagilly remember it warning to back it up but as it sync'd before i updated surly thats done then??

Not sure but i doubt it i basicully
-Plugged it in
-It sync'd
-I clicked yes to update
-It sefl reset
-I thaught i lost my games
-I made this thread
-I checked again to see i lost all my after market apps including my links to redtube.
-I checked app store to see there still installed but cant see/open/redownload them
-Im typing this after moaning and scratching my bollocks..

P1 - search page
P2 -normal screen
P3 - app store
P4- nothing
P5/6- all my bought apps LOL!!

do the new message tones not work on 3gs i updated my 4 they were there updated wifes 3gs and no new tones not that they good dont like any
