So, the inlet is taking in the ambient air and being cooled by the intercooler. The intercooler heating the ambient air as it cools the charge air. This heated air is then being taken in by the inlet and cooled by the intercooler. Very inefficient cycle.

The air filter isn't going there its going in the drivers quarter and being fed fresh air from outside via scoops in the windows
|

Most rear engine conversions I've seen put the fuel cell in the engine bay. All the Z-Cars ones are built like that to keep some weight over the front wheels.

Are you saying it's unsafe because the radiator is there?
I know Porches and Beetles have tanks up there but Beetles are air cooled not sure where 911's have their radiators.

911's have chassis rails that are optimised to crumple up to the tank and deflect outwards.
Btw they have a main rad up front and two smaller ones in front of each of the front wheels. The most complicated cooling plumbing system the world has ever seen getting that lot bled properly with all the junctions.
