Default Shower gel

Thought i'd share a cheap usefull tip. We used to get streaks from detergants when valeting. One day i did my car but no detergant left, so just for ease i nicked the other halves linxs shower gel, mixed in water and i was quite supprised. Smelled nice and streak free. cut through grease mint.
Worth a try guy's.

So you use detergents to wash cars, and shower gel when you run out?

Also Laura. Nitromor mixed with megs shampoo works aswell. It does what the clay bar does so saves you spending time on that. disclaimer, not my problem

REALLY.
We had non left so i wanted my car washed for the weekend and grabbed that. We still use detergant through the power wash. (we didnt have any that day)
But the shower gel worked a treat.
Yes i understand trying new things might frighten you but for those that give it a go will probably think twice about some wash'n'wax shampoo which some do leave streaks, which then either wants another rinse or wax (more time consuming)

This place is so full of bandwagons its not funny.

I bet lynx shower gel would do no damage to paintwork at all. And ive seen a few high-price detailers admit to using fairy liquid or other detergents to degrease cars so...
