ive just looked at the back off my head unit and the yellow wire is the main power , so i just hook up that to the remote screw on my amp and it should switch on when the stereos on ?

I can't understand why the headunit has not got a remote wire, is it a really basic headunit? So i guess it will not have any rca's connections at the back?
