Default Raceland or Janspeed?

Looking at ordering a new manifold (4-2-1 mk1) for my Furio in the afternoon. I know Raceland is Stainless but i've noticed Janspeed is slightl more expensive? why is this? better build quality?

I've also noticed the Janspeed lambda plug is higher up the pipe which will make thingd easier, just wondered which will be better in the long run?

The janspeed is most certainly a better build quality. Raceland is made on a budget in asia whereas the Janspeed is made in the uk, with higher quality materials and more skilled labour.

I didn't get on with the janspeed , was horrible to fit as had to do lots of drilling to allow the studs through as spacers were welded on pissed, bracket for gearbox will never line up ( why they even try I don't no) and as for made in uk, yeah rite, more like china, plus the fact that it lasted only 15 months before giving in to rust and splitting, ( heatwrap and mild steel is not a good combo) , I recently had a piper one and although it looked the tits it wasnt quite a good fit, bracket was out and was sending my centre section up onto the antiroll bar which wasn't good, then was sent a supersprint and what can I say, it is the dogs bits, perfect welds, perfect fit , best one ever seen, you can see the attention to detail in it, it is art, so my conclusion is... You get wat u pay for

Fitted it today..What a bastard! 2 of the stud holes had a bit of weld in the by te looks of it so had to drill that out..then the gearbox mount point was just in the saw so bent that back a bit..other than that it's beautiful Thanks Kev
