Search Prompt
I mentioned this a while ago but didnt really get any opinions on it but, on 306gti6.com they have a search pop up prompt each time you create a new thread. It simply says to stop multiple threads please use the search function as it will probably have been asked before.
This in my opinion would help with the mass of duplicate threads made, especially in engines section.

Popups Pah!
Once you have posted 3 threads you will begin to systematically skip the popup and soon forget what it even says

Perhaps it could be encorperated into the 'Things that happen when you have <50 posts then' Like not being able to edit or view member uploaded images?
Cookie for me, that was a good idea

i agree with Mystic that there should be a limit on it of say something like 150 posts or if you can do it for like the first 20 new threads people start.
plus you could add this feature to people that constantly start threads that have been posted before
