Brake Help - Saxperience

Pulled up outside my house just a few minutes ago and the o/s/r brake was locked on, and I can not get it off no matter what I try! the only reason I came home was because I dropped a mate off home and the handbrake went all the way up through the clicks but I just pumped the brake to get some pressure and it seemed to work. I've got a few ideas what could of happened but im not an expert on braking systems so if any of you have had this before can you tell me how you sorted it out

If its drum brakes on the back, then the shoe lining has probably detached itself from the shoe, and got jammed up inside the drum, this is dead common apperantly, as the shoe linings are only glued onto the shoes.
Take off the drum to investigate.
If its disc rear brakes, then it could be a seized caliper.
