16v Throttle Bodies?
Been offered a setup of cams bodies and standalone ecu for £1000. Is it worth going the bodies route or not? Car is a track car only, or is it worth for the money that’s going to be spent buying a Clio? That’s my issue, clios are my biggest bug at the track. I pass them on the twistys then they come by on the straights

For bodies to work well you need a decent intake length, which is difficult to get in without body mods or moving the engine forwards.
The value of the kit depends on what bodies they are, and what ECU it is.

Kinda depends what you are looking to get out of track use, if you are competing in a class where you are up against clios then probably the clio is a better option. If it is just for fun then it depends whether your enjoyment of owning and driving a saxo is more important to you. There is no doubt the 172 & 182 clios are excellent bang for buck, a friend of mine has one. I have driven it and it is quick, quite nice to drive etc but personally I just prefer my vts. But then I am not competing so more interested in improving my driving and getting the most out of my vts. It isn't a black and white subject and ultimately it's down to what you are looking to get out of it that will steer you.

Omex Bodies.
This isn’t for my Saxo, that’s now gone. It’s for my 106 GTi Track car.
Setup would be Newman PH3, Omex bodies and Predator Ecu
