I run at Harewood, have done for a couple of year, there are lots of videos on youtube and one on my progress thread of me on here (not that good but gives you a idea) http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=238165. If my memory is right it is the longest permenant hillclimb in the country.

Right the easy part is finished now itll be onto the exterior/underside/mechanicals in a few weeks im having to wait till ive got my nana sorted turns out its done the usual 3plug ecu trick and just failed completely gone into limp mode and died so some of the cash for this is getting a dent
Anyway the interior is pretty clean heres a piccy (seatbelts are now gone too)
Ill.get my nana gti sorted out and then crack on with this asap getting it down to a bare shell haha also got a lot to mock up with so ill probably get the motor in the bay quite quick even if it has no internals

Right slight setback on this (still got loads to do anyway) but all of the engine stuff i mentioned is gone to my 106 as i need a car daily and 185bhp everyday well i couldnt resist lol
I still have a motor to mock up with it just means ill need to save more but ill be quicker in class a lol

Same plan 16v probably a 1400 as dave says itll be more fun then as i can be quite well paced
im talking to a lad about a s1600 pugsport jp4 inlet and tb he has that i may snap up in a few months
i currently still have the 80mm wossners but ideally need to sell them to fund mapping lol
Ill get the chassis built first i think tbh then engine last maybe just take the one out my 106 when im at that stage i dunno lol
What spec is your 205??

It will hopefully be an XU 1.6 16v engine but I want to get it running on a near standard engine first. Its got a 1.8 306 xsi engine currently which I will bolt a gti-6 head and hopefully some throttlebodies (just waiting for a friend to design his own)

and bodged this in so i can look at where to put switches ect (ill be buying a proper sidemount when im back from germany maybe some weld in rails) its out of date but i picked up 2 of them for 15 quid haha!!
basically little things as currently as you can see its on my drive as i had the nana in the garage doing a few bits ill be taking it back up there soon though and then itll come apart properly also started stripping my donor 205GTI down for subframes beam ect also got the front calipers discs and mintex 1144s sat in the unit ill be painting up and fitting them when i do the lines aswell as the wilwood bias valve i have
basivally starting on the little bits as i went a bit ott spending on my nana last few months lol

Luckily hillclimb car seats dont need to be in date.
Any of you guys near Shelsley Walsh hillclimb?
My mate with a 2.0 205 has sent an entry away for the one in June so we might be down there all being well.

It's early June, that's if my pal gets an entry. It's normally oversubscribed so as he's not registered for the British or local c'ship he might not not in.
