for a friend (not much info)
mate's bird bought a 1.1 sax from dealer about a week and a half ago. she said last week the battery light came on for a second.
just got a txt off her saying the car the past few days has been doing a bit of juddering and today it juddered and cut out. she said she can start it but soon as she touches the accelerator it cuts out.
what could it be?
iv said get ur bf to check the earths and battery are nice and tight for one. but thinking about it could it be coil pack?
shes only had it just over a week so surely the dealer should sort it out.

With the battery light coming on i`d say that is either a bad connection on the alternator,or the alternator itself is faulty.

Yes because your alternator isn`t putting out a stable constant voltage.

Earth or alternator...
Definitely take it back to the dealer ASAP. Thats where £1000 of the £1200 comes in (must be sold fit for purpose, as in actually run properly)

yup told her to do that. aren't they meant to provide 3months warranty as standard?
