Man this does my head in

sometimes when i boot my computer up, (im on windows 7) it boots up fine, but the *network internet access* icon in the bottom right corner has like a blue ring round it, and it wont go online at all. I open advanced browser which i use instead of internet explorer cos i seriously hate that thing, and it does nothing, i cant get on the internet what so ever, and i try restart the computer, but it wont restart, the desktop goes blank, and all my desktop icons dissapear as if its going to restart, then it just stays on my desktop wallpaper and absolutely nothing happens, and i have to hit the reset button on my tower. But then i boot it up again, and its fine. It really annoying though, anybody got any ideas about what this could be? I done a full virus scan, defragged, disc cleanup, everything, but it does it probly....1 in 4 times i boot my computer up. Cheers

it wont seem to let me into the network connections at all though when it happens.

And is that why were in championship and your still in shitty league 1

yea yea, but for that to come up, you click on the little icon which looks like a tv screen with a plug next to it? Its that icon that has like a blue circle on it, and when that blue circle is there, cant connect to the internet, i cant open my network connections or anything, and it wont restart or shutdown. I have to pres the reset button on my tower. Does me head in
